There are hundreds of new potential vendors, ranges of products, hair stylists and brands for us to choose from, with more launching every day, targeting our community as customers for whatever hair care solution they are selling. In the midst of all of this, how do we know who to trust?
With the hair industry still functioning without any regulations, how can curly haired consumers protect themselves against poor service, toxic products and potential physical and emotional neglect at the hands of those who are not armed with the skills and understanding of our hair to be able to truly help us? How can we create a quality assurance process to help vet companies and professionals before we invest our money and time into them and raise the bar for the standards of service offered to our community as a whole?
